LOCTITE Glass Glue is specially formulated to bond glass to glass or glass to metal—ideal for transparent, water-resistant repairs. This adhesive is ideal for users seeking reliable and efficient performance across various materials and conditions. Whether it's DIY tasks, household fixes, or craft projects, this product delivers lasting results with clean, precise application, ensuring user satisfaction and a professional finish every time.
Step 1, Ensure all surfaces to be bonded are clean and dry and close-fitting.
Step 2, Wash the glass with water and dry thoroughly. Avoid cleaning the glass with detergents as residues of these materials can adversely affect the quality of the bond.
Step 3, Avoid skin contact with the glue.
Step 4, Apply minimum quantity of LOCTITE® Super Glue Glass to one of the surfaces to be bonded.
Step 5, Bring parts together immediately and hold by hand pressure for at least 1 minute.
Step 6, Leave undisturbed for 10 minutes or preferably overnight to allow full bond strength to develop.
Step 7, Avoid spillages and protect work surfaces. Remove cured residues of Super Glue Glass with LOCTITE® Super Glue Remover.
Step 8, For best results, the bonds should be prepared at room temperature (15-30°C) and a minimum 30% relative humidity.
Step 9, For optimum product life, wipe the nozzle with a tissue soaked in acetone (e.g. nail varnish remover) to remove excess adhesive, replace cap and store the pack in a cool, dry place.
