How to fix a broken mug: The right glue

How to fix a broken mug handle
Get everything ready. Clear the workspace, get your super glue, a cloth or paper towel and Loctite Glue Remover, along with some gloves.
Clean the pieces thoroughly and pre-fit the handle onto the mug to see how closely the pieces align and whether you’re missing any parts.
Apply super glue. Squeeze a small drop of glue onto one of the surfaces and press both parts together immediately.
Leave to dry before pouring liquid in. Check manufacturer’s instruction for curing time.
Finish the job. Clean the workspace, and remove any excess glue by scraping it off gently with a sharp knife, or using a cloth or paper towel dipped in Loctite Glue Remover.
Be careful when adding liquid to your mug after you’ve repaired it, especially hot liquids.
How to fix a cracked or chipped mug
Get everything ready. Clear the area, get your super glue, some paper towel and Loctite Glue Remover.
Clean and dry the chipped or cracked surface.
Apply super glue to the surface and then either attach any broken pieces you’ve found, or fill the crack or chip with the glue. We recommend using Loctite Super Glue Power Gel Control: its squeeze bottle and nozzle allow you to apply it with maximum precision.
Dry and clean up. If there’s any excess glue on the mug, wait until the mug is dry and then apply some Loctite Glue Remover with a paper towel or cloth. Your mug may not be suitable for hot liquids after the repair, so take care.
