Super glue is great to have around the house. It can fix almost anything and is easy to apply, making it the go-to solution for all the little things that need repairing. But super glue can sometimes also stain and leave you stuck. We’ll show you how to get super glue off your skin (and your workbench) like a pro.
Super glue is great at fixing all kinds of objects, but that also means it can stick to surfaces where you don’t want it to. Like your fingers, your workbench or other parts which are not supposed to be glued together. In these situations, just grab some Loctite Glue Remover!
Loctite’s range of super glues, including Super Glue Liquid, Super Glue Perfect Pen, Super Glue Flex, Super Glue Glass, and Super Glue All Plastics, are all formulated to form strong, long-lasting bonds with different surfaces. They’re also good at sticking to your skin, if not applied properly. But don’t worry, we’ll show you how to get super glue off your skin. Just follow these instructions.
Even if you’re careful, super glue can still make its way onto your work bench or table. It’s easy to get rid of excess super glue with Loctite Glue Remover though.
Loctite Glue Remover can also be used on stained surfaces, stained clothes and any objects that haven’t been bonded properly.
Loctite Glue Remover can be used to remove stains from clothes, too. Just place a folded tissue on both sides, leave for a few hours and your clothes will be free of stains.
If you’ve got super glue residue on metal, wood, plastic, or fabric, first try following the steps outlined above with Loctite Glue Remover.
Alternatively, any super glue residue on metal or wood can be removed by soaking them in acetone, which is found in most nail varnish removers and using a nail file or sandpaper to work off the residue. Super glue stains on fabric can also be removed with acetone.
If you don’t have a nail varnish remover at hand, any affected areas on wood can be soaked in coconut or olive oil to get rid of stains. For any residues on plastic surfaces, try vegetable oil.
