You can’t use just any glue on a tough, porous material like concrete – you need a high-strength two-part epoxy glue for concrete.
To decide which epoxy glue for concrete is best for you, first look at the object in need of repair and note down what all of the parts that need to be bonded to the concrete are made of. You will then need to find a two-part epoxy glue that can bond to all of those materials.
Unibond’s Repair Express Power Epoxy Putty can be used for filling gaps and repairing most building materials. When the two parts are combined, this high-strength, shock resistant epoxy putty forms a malleable paste-like substance that can also be moulded, sanded, drilled and painted.
Now you’ve got an idea of the two-part epoxy concrete glue you’ll need, it’s time to find out how to use it.
If you choose to use a syringe system, start by removing the plug and cut the ends off both syringes. Turn the syringe upside down and retract the plunger slowly to get rid of any air bubbles. Then press the plunger in, dispense equal parts of the two components and mix them together. At this point, you’re ready to apply the epoxy glue for concrete and make the repair.
If you choose to use Unibond’s Repair Express Power Epoxy Putty, you’ll need to mix the two parts of the putty by hand, following the instructions on the pack.
